Creative Director

Shuttlerock is going through a growth phase and has an exciting opportunity for our first Sydney based Creative Director.
This role will provide leadership, creative direction & brand guardianship to our clients in APAC. You will develop and support the overall creative vision of our clients, guide in-house creative resources, and foster a collaborative environment and creative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop creative ideas and strategy ensuring concepts, visuals and messaging align with client’s objectives, have cut through, follow Brand guidelines and meet platform best practices.
• Collaborate with and oversee in-house creative output of jobs to ensure Brand consistency, alignment with project briefs, and ensuring client feedback are actioned to the highest of standards.
• Foster a culture of creativity, agility and professionalism.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, pitch creative ideas, present work, and stretch & challenge briefs when needed.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies & speed of culture to keep clients' work fresh and relevant.
• Attend pre-production meetings, shoots & oversee post production from a creative and craft point of view.
• Attend QBRs and have regular check-ins with clients, ensuring we are meeting their creative needs and expectations.
• Manage and mentor the in-house Content Creator
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a creative leadership role preferably within an agency or in-house creative team (5+ years)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including branding, advertising, and social/digital content. Food/Beverage experience highly regarded.
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite especially After Effects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviour.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Down to earth, collaborative and fun!
• Be able to work onsite 2 days a week (flex needed)
