Shuttlerock is going through a growth phase and has an exciting opportunity for our first Sydney based Content Creator, working on one of our global CPG Enterprise clients. 

In close collaboration with the Creative Director and Sr. Producer, as well as client brand teams, you will be responsible for agile ideating, developing, and executing engaging social content across multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.), ensuring alignment with the overall clients strategy and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Smaller-scale Production Support: film, take images, and perform basic edits collaborating with the post-production team if needed for refinement.

• Proactive Ideation and Pitching: Actively pitch content ideas to the Brands in collaboration with the Creative Director. These ideas will be informed by both brand objectives and emerging cultural trends.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Brand and Media teams to schedule content, ensuring it is optimally planned and aligned with monthly campaign calendars.

• Channel-specific Content Creation: Produce platform-specific content, including engaging videos, imagery, and written content tailored for each channel’s unique audience and format.

• Behind-the-scenes Production: For content studio and larger integrated productions, capture behind-the-scenes footage and stills, ensuring that key moments are documented and shared.

• Newsletter & Trends Reporting: Manage a monthly trends newsletter, reporting on the latest social media, cultural, and creative insights, which will be shared across Brand teams to inform content strategies.

• Proactive Social Listening: Monitor real-time social conversations and stay attuned to the latest platform updates and trending topics.

• Cultural Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging trends, industry shifts, and creative best practices.

• Influencer and Community Engagement: Assist in the coordination of influencer content and monthly social content calendars, ensuring that all content is both brand-appropriate and culturally resonant.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of social media/content creation experience within an agency or in-house creative team 

• Portfolio of work showcasing a range of content creation projects with a focus on social/digital content. Food/Beverage experience highly regarded.

• Proficient copywriting skills maintaining brands voice and personality

• Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, design trends and speed of culture

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Basic editing skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.

• Down to earth, collaborative and fun!

• Be able to work onsite 2 days a week (flex needed)
